I’ve decided to start a list of automotive terms and their definitions to help those who don’t understand my terminology. I’ll be adding to this as I cover different topics and unusual terms show up.
Glossary of automotive terms
http://davidpisarra.com/paris-agreement-synopsis Battery post: the two protrusions on the top or side of the battery where the battery connects to the battery cables. One is the positive (+) and the other is negative (-) or ground (earth).
Holladay Battery cable lug: The end of the battery cable where it connects to the battery post. Sometimes these are part of the battery cable and other times they are a separate piece.
FSM: Factory Service Manual. The service manual that was written by the maker of the vehicle.
